Activity: Create with Shapes

Value: To share and work together

Starter Activity: We start with fun games.

Class 1: Follow the leader- The leader begins miming and action; clapping, jumping, waving etc. the others in the circle must copy. Change leaders after 2-3 actions.

Class 2: People to People- Group children around the circle, say how they must be joined. Ex. finger-to-finger, shoulder-to-shoulder, elbow-to-elbow. Children carry out commands.

Activity: Create with shapes, the teachers hows a video of shape rhymes on the tablet. Children learn the names of shapes and sing the rhymes along with the teacher.

Class 1: Children choose any one shape. Trace it and create anything with the shape.

Group A- Creates with shape, Group B- creates with Aakar Parivar

Class 2: Children choose any two shapes. Trace it and create anything with the shape.

Group A- Creates with shape, Group B- creates with Aakar Parivar

Closing Activity: We will close the activity by recalling the names of all the shapes.
